Ports Australia is pleased to provide feedback on the draft National PFAS Position Statement (the Statement) to the Australian Government PFAS Taskforce. Ports Australia acknowledges the importance of continuing to protect and conserve the Australian environment and the role that PFAS minimisation and where possible, phase out, has in this. The work of all Australian governments to develop a consistent approach to PFAS regulation, is welcome, and this submission seeks to assist the development of a clear and directed position statement on PFAS for Australia.
