Ports Australia provides opportunities for the Ports sector to meet and discuss local, national and international issues impacting their Port and communities.

Working Groups

We have divided the sector into specific working groups organised by their focus. Government and the maritime services sector also attend these groups.

Conferences

We also have two conferences held on alternating years. Broadly speaking these two conferences have a macro and micro approach to the sector. The Business and Operations Conference is designed for those engaged in the day to day running of Ports. The Biennial Conference is an opportunity for the sectors leaders and decision makers to discuss the big issues.

Working groups provide expert knowledge that form the basis for a range of publications providing best practice for the sector. Combined with in house research we offer Australia's only collection of Port specific manuals and best practice guides including the Wharf Structures Condition Assessment Manual.
