The Port of Brisbane is a cornerstone of the Queensland economy – it is one of Australia’s fastest growing container ports and the state’s largest multi-cargo port. Around 95% of Queensland’s containerised trade, 90% of motor vehicles and 50% of Australia’s agricultural exports move through the Port of Brisbane. Located at the mouth of the Brisbane River, Port of Brisbane is managed and developed by the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL) under a 99-year lease from the Queensland Government.

- Operation of the Brisbane Multimodal Terminal
- Leasing and managing land for port-related services
- Facilitation of the development approval process for Brisbane core port land
- Maintaining navigable access to the port for commercial shipping
- Stevedoring and towage
