The Australian Maritime College (AMC) is Australia’s national institute for maritime education, training and research. AMC delivers courses from vocational training through to bachelor and postgraduate degrees. Research areas include sustainable ports, shipping, and supply chains. Our academics are well known for their expertise in optimising supply chains, how emerging technology impacts on maritime and logistics operations and how to develop climate change adaptation strategies for maritime transport and ports. Through its training and consultancy division, AMC can also deliver commercial engineering and design services, maritime simulations, port development/optimisation studies plus bespoke short courses for the ports and terminal sector.
